Safety, made certain.

Every vial
makes a claim.
We make it certain.

CertaSafe Labs is a testing laboratory specializing in peptides. We test peptides. We do not sell them.

Section 1 of 6.Testing

Peptide Testing

Start from the claim being made, not the label it carries.

Peptide analysis

Potency (concentration)

What is the concentration of peptide in the vial, checked against the label claim?

Does not establish: Mass confirmation of the peptide's identity, or purity.

MethodHPLC-DAD
Sample10mg. The same 10mg sample serves Potency, Purity, and Mass Confirmation together.
Turnaround2 to 3 days. Instrument run time is 26 minutes. Same day is possible; 2 to 3 days is typical, depending on sample volume at the laboratory.

Purity

What is the purity of the peptide in the vial, checked against the label claim?

Does not establish: Peptide identification.

Mass Confirmation

Is the peptide what the product states it is?

Does not establish: Purity, or concentration.

MethodHPLC-MS
Sample10mg. The same 10mg sample serves Potency, Purity, and Mass Confirmation together.
Turnaround2 to 3 days. Instrument run time is 26 minutes. Same day is possible; 2 to 3 days is typical, depending on sample volume at the laboratory.

Contamination screening

Endotoxins

Are endotoxins present in the sample?

Does not establish: Anything about the peptide itself. The quantity of endotoxin: the result is presence or absence only, a presence screen rather than a quantitation.

MethodLAL assay
SampleA complete vial of the product.
TurnaroundUp to 1 day. A rapid kit result takes under an hour. The plate reader method typically takes 1 day.

Sterility

Is the product free from bacterial contamination?

Does not establish: Anything about the peptide itself.

MethodDirect inoculation, USP <71>
SampleAt least 2 vials of the product.
Turnaround14 days. Traditional method per USP <71>. A rapid method on the BacT/ALERT system, with a 7 day turnaround, is planned but not yet offered.

Product properties

Metals

What heavy metal concentrations are present in the product?

Does not establish: Anything about the peptide itself.

MethodICP-MS or ICP-OES
SampleAt least 10mg; more is preferred.
TurnaroundRun time is several minutes. Same day is possible.

pH

What is the pH of the product?

Does not establish: Anything about the peptide itself.

MethodpH meter
Sample2 to 5mg.
TurnaroundImmediate.

Turnaround is an estimate in days, not a promise. Turnaround is measured from sample receipt, not from payment.

Section 2 of 6.Evidence

Purity Is Not Safety

One sample. Multiple questions. Each answer held to its own evidence.

The Evidence Coverage Map shows coverage, never a score.

Potency (concentration)

What it answers

What is the concentration of peptide in the vial, checked against the label claim?

What it does not establish

  • Mass confirmation of the peptide's identity, or purity.

Section 3 of 6.CertaScan

COA verification, in public

Secure public COA verification. A COA resolves by its secure code, by its identifier with the lot label, or by the file itself, fingerprinted in your browser. Each one needs something only a holder of the document has. There is no public client directory and no lookup by company name.

Unverified

Nothing is asserted until a lookup resolves to a released COA.

Section 4 of 6.Programs

Pharmaceutical and Complex Programs

A consultative pathway rather than an off-the-shelf catalog. A complex project goes to the custom testing inquiry on the contact page, which asks for the molecule, the matrix, the objective, the specifications, the method status, the sample quantity, the timeline, the regulatory context, and the deliverables.

  • Pharmaceutical testingBy inquiry
  • Method development and validationBy inquiry
  • Stability programsBy inquiry
  • Custom analytical workBy inquiry
  • Quality systemsBy inquiry
  • Data packagesBy inquiry

Section 5 of 6.Ordering

From question to released COA

Certainty Engine

Find the right tests before you order

The Certainty Engine asks simple questions and recommends appropriate tests or packages with rationale, public pricing, sample requirements, and expected turnaround.

Sample journey

Five stages, one connected record

  1. Order Placed
  2. Sample Received
  3. Testing
  4. Laboratory Review
  5. COA Released

Estimated communications are labeled as estimates. Authoritative status requires a real laboratory event.
