Sample submission
Send the sample the test needs, labeled so it cannot be mistaken.
What to send for each test, how to label and pack it, how to ship it, and what happens to it after testing. Order-specific instructions in the portal take priority over this guide if the two ever differ.
What each test needs
Amounts are the laboratory's own. Potency (concentration), Purity, and Mass Confirmation run from a single injection and share one sample, so ordering all three on one vial needs the amount once, not three times. The order builder states what each of your samples has to carry.

Label every vial
The laboratory asks that each vial be labeled clearly. For the traceability record this site keeps, write the order number from your confirmation and the sample name you gave it in the order builder, so the vial in the laboratory's hands matches the record in yours. Separate lots are separate samples: a second lot gets its own record and its own label, never a shared one.
A completed submission form travels with every shipment. The laboratory calls it its chain of custody form; for routine research-use work it is the traceability record that matches your vials to your order. Formal chain of custody programs, for pharmaceutical, regulated, legal, or contracted work, are arranged in advance and are not the default.

Pack and ship
Each vial labeled clearly, packed with a chain of custody form, on ice, overnight preferred.
In order: label each vial clearly, complete the submission form and pack it with the vials, send samples in their final form packaging, pack them on ice, and ship overnight where you can. A warm arrival is a rejection reason; the ice and the overnight service are what prevent it.

- Receiving is open 8 to 5, daily. Couriers can leave packages at the front desk.
- Large submissions
- The laboratory's capacity is about 80 samples a day. Sending more than that at once needs advance notice, so tell the laboratory before you ship.
At receipt
The laboratory matches each vial to its record and documents its condition. Any damaged product arriving is unusable and is rejected. The examples the laboratory gives: a damaged vial, a missing label, a warm arrival, and an insufficient amount.
When a sample is rejected, the customer is contacted and a resampling is requested. A rejected sample has not started its clock, and your order's status reflects it. Samples in one order move independently, so one rejected or waiting sample never stops the rest.

After testing
Samples are kept for 45 days after testing, then disposed of. Samples are not returned. Send what the test needs and keep the rest.
