This is the public version of the Evidence Chain. It explains the path every sample follows. Inside the portal, the same chain shows the real status, timestamps, instructions, and evidence for each of your own samples.

When the clock starts, and what changes it
Turnaround begins after sample receipt and acceptance. It does not begin at payment, at carrier handoff, or at delivery to the building. A sample that arrives outside its requirements has not been accepted yet, so its clock has not started.
Published turnaround for each service appears on that service page once it is confirmed. Where a duration is not yet confirmed, the page says so rather than estimating.
Testing pauses when the laboratory needs something it does not have: a condition issue with the sample, missing identification, an information question, or a decision that only the customer can make. Each pause appears on the affected sample in the portal, with what it is waiting on. Samples in one order move independently, so one paused sample never stops the rest.
Status shown to you follows real laboratory events. Where a communication is an estimate, it is labeled as an estimate.
